Battle of java won't start

After i completed the japanese scenario in the java sea, i get the 2nd choice to make for my core.
I picked tokyo express, and started the next scenario.
I get the red line filling up completely( underneath the loading tips).
I can press continue, but nothing happens....
Tried different difficulty, even choose forced labour instead of tokyo express, nothing happenss..
Just as i was getting on a roll with my japanese killers it all ends?
Anyone have any ideas?

I am having the same problem as the OP. I have downloaded and installed the hot fix listed and this did not solve the problem. I don't know what files you would want from my computer to trouble shoot the problem but I will be glad to provide whatever information you want. Please let me know.

Where's you game installed? Can you tell us the full path?

I'm having the exact same problem. so far ive.....
1. unloaded then reloaded the game
2. unloaded the game then tried the steam key version
3. uploaded the hotfix
4. scanned the program for problems and viruses

I tried the fix, still won't load after completing the Java Sea mission, Same thing, red bar fills but can't click the continue button. I installed it in C:\Program Files (x86)\Slitherine\Order of Battle - Pacific

Do I need to restart the entire campaign for it to work, I've been try to advance a previously saved game. I got the game from Steam yesterday, pretty frustrating really.

If you have the Steam version than the path the of the game will most probably be different than C:\Program Files (x86)\Slitherine\Order of Battle - Pacific.
So you must be installing the hotfix in the wrong place.

Browse your local files in the Steam program to see where the game is installed, and then install the hotfix on that same location.

Thank you for the trouble shooting. It was the path I was installing too. For the players who downloaded from Steam it is in a different/long path then those who bought the game from a brick & mortar. Please watch the video to find where your Steam version is installed.
