Question for iPad users - possible bug?

Hi - Are any active users on this site using the iPad version of Panzer Corps? If so, please could you check to see if you are experiencing the same bug as I am.

Recently I stopped receiving any prestige for capturing victory hexes. I've tried multiple difficulty levels with several scenarios in the Grand and vanilla campaigns. The issue does not appear to be happening for the Allied Corps expansion. I also think I'm getting less prestige than normal for completing scenarios and 'per turn' but this is more difficult to check as I'm not sure what the default amount is as defined in the scenario.

After a lot of frustration I decided to delete the app, redownload and start everything again, but to my surprise the problem persisted, which is what is making me think it might be a more prevalent issue. I have emailed Slitherine support but not heard back yet. My ios version is 8.4.

It's a real shame as I was really enjoying this game, but at the moment it is just not playable.

I play also on ipad but sofar i have not experienced this bug. Are you sure this is not related to the prestige cap?

Thanks for responding. I don't think it is the prestige soft cap, as it is occurring right at the start of the campaign.

And that occured suddenly? Did you upgrade your tablet?

No - I didn't change the ipad or the operating system. I just suddenly noticed that I had no prestige - I think it started around the Modlin scenario. I get prestige for surrendering units, but that's all.

Wow, that is weird. What you should do is calculate the prestige and use the cheat code to add it.

How do I do that from an iPad save?

I've been experimenting, and if I start the '39 Grand Campaign scenario without spending any prestige then I don't earn any from capturing hexes. However, if I spend some prestige on units in the first turn I do earn prestige. Is that the way it's supposed to work? I couldn't find anything about a cap on prestige apart from the 'soft cap' and it didn't sound like the soft cap worked that way.

I've noticed strange behavior as well on iOS, that doesn't seem related to soft cap. One example: Starting in GC 39 I capture an objective on turn two, which I assume should earn the normal 50 points. This occurs correctly if I have purchased up to a few units beforehand, but not if I purchase the four units that are available (at least not the combo of units I've tried so far).

I'm having the same problem trying to get prestige in Afrikakorps at the Field Marshall level on the iPad. By the time I get to the middle of the game with scenarios like Dash to the Wire & Gazala line, I find I'm getting virtually no prestige, save for when I capture cities. I don't recall this when I was playing the same scenario on my PC. Is this a bug?
