Campaigns - what next?

Post by Zipuli »

Enjoying PSC, now with the Le Roi Soleil content. Are there any plans on expanding the campaigns feature, and/or to add more campaigns, maybe as DLC? There are still a lot of turf to cover, hopefully the game keeps on expanding ;)

Hopefully it will, but at the moment we are working on using the system for other periods.

While we are doing so, we hope that the users will continue to expand the range of user-created content, particularly using the new units for scenarios set in the very early or late parts of the period.

Fair enough. However any chance of adding a working elephant graphic to the game with the next update so user content can extend to the Indian subcontinent ?

I wonder what other periods are under consideration? Perhaps if horse & musket was coming first you could do "wars in India" fairly early on for that and add the Indian unit textures (elephants rocket men and camel guns etc) from that back into "Pike & Shot Campaigns" at that point ?

Certainly los of scope for extra user content already there with "Pike & Shot Campaigns". Strikes me that the Great Northern War is well doable now and we had the first Wars of the Roses scenario posted yesterday.

Kind regards
Ian
