Africa Update
I know, there already is an African campaign, but the diversity of the actual fighting in Africa was huge.
This would add not 1, but 3 campaigns, with 12 missions each! Here is their overview.
Colonial War, early war 40-41
Player controls Commonwealth troops. Broad range, starting with the Anglo-Italian war in Ethiopia. The next 3 missions showcase the attack by Iraqi insurgents on airfields and battles for Vichy Syria.
The rest of the campaign is about early North Africa and operation compass, basically an expanded version of those 2 missions that had Italians in them. The Campaign concludes with the arrival of the Afrika Korps.
The main highlights would be the mostly outdated and obsolete units facing each other, ranging from Ethiopian Tribesmen (armed with rifles, of course.), to South African Marmon-Harrington armoured cars.
This creates a unique battlefield.
Desert Fox early to mid war 41-42.
This time, we control the Afrika Korps. Missions range from defending against battle-axe and Crusader, taking Benghazi and Tobruk, assaulting El-Alamein and in a final what-if, breaking through.
It would be very interesting to see to other side of the story, similar to Rommel in Normandy.
Operation Torch mid war 42-43
The final campaign has us controlling Anglo-American forces while facing Afrika Korps, Vichy Colonial troops as well as remnants of the Italians.
Playing as the US we assault French positions in Casablanca and Algiers with our early and somewhat obsolete equipment (M3 37mm, Stuart). The British join in and we force the Axis into Tunisia.
Battles that I believe are popular on these forums like Kassarine Pass (I'm looking at you Navaronegun). Anyways, Shermans and Churchills facing off with Tigers. Sounds fun? No?!

New Units
Abyssinia
Abyssinian Guard:
Some of Haile Selassies best troops.
High Morale, poor equipment.
Abyssinian Scouts:
These men seek out enemy positions to
make it safe for their comrades to move on.
Tribesmen:
Courageous, but terribly armed with a wide assortment of rifles.
These troops are desperate to take back their homeland.
Abyssinian Lewis:
Armed with a great weapon of the great war,
these men aren't as strong as other MG crews
but still pack a punch.
Abyssinian Jeep:
Supplied by the British,
The ubiquitous Jeep is used to ferry troops from one place to
another quickly.
Iraqi Insurgents
Iraqi sentry:
2-man unit that acts as an early warning to any
incoming attack.
Insurgents:
These men lead the raid on the airfield.
Quite underpowered.
I will post more info on my concept soon, please give feedback!
