German-Finnish mini-campaign (beta 1 available)
German-Finnish mini-campaign for Panzer Corps.
This campaign is an add-in to McGuba's Battlefield Europe, for its outstanding e-file, efx file, medals and UI.
This campaign does not change anything to Battlefield Europe; the mini-campaign is accessed through the 1939 portrait (former tutorial campaign).
Download: *WIP*
Installation: *WIP*
The campaign consists of the following scenarios:
Introduction:
Mannerheim Line: Soviet attack on the Mannerheim Line
Continuation War:
Renntier: the liberation of the nickel mines and the port of Petsamo
Polarfuchs: the liberation of the town of Salla and the capture of the important railroad hub of Kandalaksha (partly hypothetical)
Ostkarelien: the conquest of East Karelia to become part of Greater Finland
Hypothetical:
Silberfuchs: the attack on the Soviet port of Murmansk
Nordlicht: the attack on Leningrad from north and south in 1942

Re: German-Finnish mini-campaign
thank you. i am looking forward to this
Re: German-Finnish mini-campaign
This looks quite fun. I always wanted to try my hand at commanding the gallant Finns who battled against the odds! I will try it out once i finish my current playthrough of McGuba's Battlefield Europe (only just started it though, so will take quite a while).
Re: German-Finnish mini-campaign
Haha, yeah, I also planned to make a Finnish campaign, but never really had the time for it.
Looking forward to this one, though.

Re: German-Finnish mini-campaign
I like Finnish campaigns and Finnish units. I like to tweek them as they were very durable and tough fighters.
Old Timer Panzer General fan. Maybe a Volksturm soldier now. Did they let Volksturm drive Panzers?
Re: German-Finnish mini-campaign
Currently working on the final scenario of this mini-campaign.

Re: German-Finnish mini-campaign
The first beta is now available!
How to install the German-Finnish mini-campaign?
- Download and install the Battleground Europe mod from McGuba in your GME (generic mod enabler) folder
- Download and extract the German-Finnish mini campaign in the Battlefield Europe folder; this will overwrite a few files without disabling the Battlefield Europe mod itself
- Load the Battlefield Europe mod into GME
- Launch the game, start the game, click the icon which represents the former tutorial missions; you might need to switch off "tutorial messages" during the first playthrough.

Re: German-Finnish mini-campaign (beta 1 available)
Great looking new mod! Thanks for providing this constant flow of new content! Helps keeping the game alive.
@nikivdd do you happen to know what faction slot the next official PzC expansion will use for Finland? It was already announced that Finland will feature into the game, but unless I`m missing something, currently the game does not have it listed in the nations.pzdat. It would be helpful to know so as not to redo work once Finland is officially added to the game.

There will be a few new nations, but at this point, i do not know which nation ID numbers assigned to those countries, nor the side default (Axis, or Allied) in the nations.pzdat.
