Downloading Panzer Corps

I purchased Panzer Corps quite some time ago. I suffered a hard drive failure and lost the install file. I still have the registration code. Where can I download the game without having to purchase it again so I can install it on my new computer and register it with my current code?

If you email Slitherine they can find your authorisation code (they did when I had a PC failure about two years ago).

You can also record your purchase codes with your Slitherine profile so that when you need to reinstall (for any reason - crash, new machine or an extra machine) you can find it easily.

I don´t understand why people do not use the Steam version. Its FAR easy to reinstall the game all the times they want.
Slitherine should encourage to use it in my humble opinion.

In my case, because last time I changed my PC, the Steam version wasn't available, and since things currently work OK, I can't see the point in changing.

The benefits of using Steam don't look convincing at present. Am I missing something?

I have found Steam to be not that good when modding - if a patch comes around there is great potential for auto-updater to ruin it.

If not like Panzer Corps is updated every week or even month. I don´t know, I found it very useful to have the chance to install the game the times I want without asking tech support for anything.

My laptop hard drive became corrupted during a power outage. Got it fixed. With my game serial numbers I was able to download PC, AK and the GCs from Slitherine, though each download was moderately glitchy with error screens that had to be clicked away. And this on Windows 10.
Games works fine. I think its version 1.14(?). When I try to update Panzer Corps the download goes about three quarters the way through then hangs up and must be aborted. This is using the in game update button. Same on retry.
I wonder if some other patch is needed first (?), and what should be the most up to date version?

You should be able to update straight after the installation using the update button. If it's not working and the download is breaking up it's either because of problems with the server or somewhere on the internet on the way to you. The current non Steam version of Panzer Corps is 1.22 and you can download it for example from here http://www.gamershell.com/download_105561.shtml

Strange i just tried to download the file again and while being quite slow the download worked for me without any problems. I guess there may be some problems with your ISP or general routing in the internet. Try the links VPaulus posted maybe one of them will work.

I encourage users to CLOSE your game you have open, as the download will stop if certain files are in use.

I understand any games in progress will not update to v1.22...so one must start over?
