Re: The Great Rebellion Campaign
I was unable to take part in this campaign due to computer problems. Any chance of running another ECW campaign?
Re: The Great Rebellion Campaign
Are we done here? Would be a shame if that was the case.
Re: The Great Rebellion Campaign
Its been a long turn and there are still some games to report.

Re: The Great Rebellion Campaign
I'm still waiting for keyth to complete our game; no move for quite a while.

What? Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!

Turns coming today!

It's entirely possible that I'll run another 'Great Rebellion' soon after this one as the format seems to work quite well. I'll let you know when recruiting starts.
Cheers.

Outstanding battles
Danny and I are bringing North Wales to a conclusion but we still have no news from the South West and Mid West, both Aryaman/shawkhan2 match-ups. Any news from these fronts?
Cheers.

I am waiting for moves from Shawkhan2 in both games since August 22

OK, thanks for the information. I know he was going to be in the wilderness with little or no connectivity for a while.Aryaman wrote:I am waiting for moves from Shawkhan2 in both games since August 22

Re: The Great Rebellion Campaign
News from North Wales! The Royalists (41%) have defeated the Parliamentarian force under Ulysisgrunt (67%). It was a close run thing until we were both around 35-40% then a few flank and rear attacks told. Thanks for a great game!

Re: The Great Rebellion Campaign
I've sent him a PM and if I don't hear from him within a few days I will poll the gentlemen of Parliament to see if they wish to use a proxy shawkhan this turn.keyth wrote:OK, thanks for the information. Re: The Great Rebellion Campaign
My abject apologies, Gentlemen for my regrettable but unavoidable absence due to RL contingencies, and the near total lack of internet until after the New Year.
I suggest that Cromwell or some other erstwhile Pious Parliamentarian take my place for now, as I can only get to the internet once a week at best.
I will continue to Pray for the success of Our Righteous Cause.

Sorry to hear that! Hopefully we will cross spaniels in the not-too-distant future.shawkhan2 wrote:My abject apologies, Gentlemen for my regrettable but unavoidable absence due to RL contingencies, and the near total lack of internet until after the New Year.

@ Cromwell: there is a seat available in the House of Commons should you wish to take it! Let me know

Re: The Great Rebellion Campaign
Keyth, if there are no other suitable candidates for the vacant position I'd be happy to take it. I have taken to wearing black and kicking poodles and spaniels whenever they cross my path, so am almost fully trained in dourness. Andre
Re: The Great Rebellion Campaign
Cromwell has been called to the Parliamentary colours to replace shawkhan2. I'm several hours ahead of GMT at the moment so could some kind (dour) Parliamentarian take him in hand and get his challenges with Aryaman sorted out?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: The Great Rebellion Campaign
Hi Cromwell,
Welcome to TGR (again). I don't know if you have been told that you need to challenge Aryaman for the South-West as well as his challenge to you. above, for the Mid-West.

Re: The Great Rebellion Campaign
I heard nothing from Cromwell so far, it is a pity we can´t go forward in the campaign for just 2 matches unfinished...
Re: The Great Rebellion Campaign
Have you PM'ed him? I assume most people are no longer checking this thread since it's been so long since we had a new turn.
