diagonal lines on hexes

Sometimes yellow diagonal lines show up next to my units ..Can't find out what they mean.Thanks for any answer

I think these lines represent the influence zone of attached leaders. If your unit in question has a leader attached to it, then the diagonal yellow lines represent the area that his bonus will affect...allowing other units within this zone to receive the leaders' benefits.

Thanks buff pilot seems to be right I believe the leader was there..
