Best Program to Record PS Screen

Post by GBISSET »

Ill start by saying Im playing the new campaign game solo and loving it. Im also glad you added numbers to the units to distinguish them.

The one thing I would still like to see is during battles I would like to see the action stop during the AI turn, as it does during my turn, so I can process what is going on better. I dont think there is a way to do this now, but correct me if Im wrong.

As a workaround, I wonder who has had success recording the PS screens and what is the easiest/cheapest way to do this? I would then leave PS, stop the recording and view it, then return to PS after the AI combat resolution.

Thanks!

George

There isn't a way to pause the AI turn. You can take a screenshot by pressing F2. The screens are saved in My Documents\My Games\PSCAMP\Saves

Yes I understand I can take screen shots, but what Im talking about is making a movie, or recording the whole AI turn, then running that and pausing as I go.

Is there a certain screen capture program that anyone has used for that, for example to make demos for youtube or whatever?

Thanks,

George

Thanks for the suggestion! The free version of Fraps only goes 30 seconds, and I need about 10 minutes, so I ended up using Debut (freeware).
