Version mismatch

Hello!
I have a copy of Battlefield Academy, my version had been 1.3; build 1.5.4 or somesuch. Because I wanted to try multiplayer I downloaded the 2.6.0 patch and installed. Having been almost completely through the process, avast would block the Russian language manual. Still, when trying to install again, I get the message that I have updated already and 2.6.0 is ready to play. But when starting, I get the Version mismatch (0) error, plus an unhandled exception (see attachment).

Any ideas?

Disable your anti-virus and manually install 2.60 patch from the link below:
