Yes, we've already caught that one. As you can imagine, at the end of Britcon our priority is to get ready for the presentations so this slipped through and hadn't been added to the sheet.

Re: Britcon 2015
Well this was my first FOG-R tournament in the UK with so many players...
A few points I would like to comment on...
1. So well ran tournament, a big Thanks to the Umpire Kevin and to Tim, for making this a very enjoyable weekend.
2. To each of my round competitors, sorry for being a bit slow now and again, but thanks for making it very enjoyable and making me go round the tables so much...
3. For the first time in Britcon, I was relaxed, no reading of rules, and having loads of discussions about their club rule version etc. very very chilled out, so much so 2 players let me go shop when they wanted a break and chill...
4. Looing forward to playing next year in FOG-R (A long as its not at the time I go to Canada
)
5. I was expecting a score of 4 points per round, and my average was 12 points a much more 3 times better than I thought I would do.
Well done to the top 3 prize winners...

Well done George. As you found out FOGR players are a great bunch of guys. Cannot recall any game of FOGR at anybBritcon where my opponent has left a sour taste in my mouth at the end of the game.
Tim said same date next year so you should be able to plan ahead.

Re: Britcon 2015
Following the abysmal performance by the aussie cricket team, I rolled into my first game with Hunter slightly worse for wear.
Must remember for worlds, don't spend six hours in the pub before the first game.
Thanks everyone for great games and Kevin for dealing with a few "I got myself into this problem....."
Now, how to fix my army for Lisbon

It was touch and go whether I turned up on the Friday I was feeling so rough, but a decent night's sleep made for a much more pleasant Saturday until I tasted that damned burger. Back to curry next year!
I can't believe I came fourth after such a roller coaster ride (lose/win/lose/win/lose/win). Thanks as usual to our heroic organisers, respect to my opponents, congratulations to the top three "non-Alsadairs," and yah boo sucks to Simon as the lowest placed Central London Player in the competition.
Dave
PS Did I notice something a bit weird in the draw for the final round? Adrian playing Hunter on table 3??

Re: Britcon 2015
That would be due to him having a temporary score due to dropping Saturday night's game.

Re: Britcon 2015
The last of the large 1 day singles events this year is Warfare in Reading, 14/15 November.
Next year's events are not firmly scheduled, but based on previous dates:
Roll Call - should be around Easter in Cranfield near Milton Keynes. 4 games.
Challenge - Oxford Brookes University, probably June/July. 5 Games over 2 days.
These, together with Britcon are the larger singles events, as Bob has already posted there is the Northern League (5 rounds) plus a number of other one day events (Southern League, UK Games Expo and Stoke) although I suspect travelling would be an issue for these.
There are also a couple of team events, where each player plays individually as part of a team of 3. Campaign (Milton Keynes) is normally in May and Derby in October.

Re: Britcon 2015
Warfare is a two day single competition in Reading. There are hotels quite near the venue in north Reading.
There are also FOG R Doubles competitions in Usk, South Wales, and Burton. Organisers will assist in pairing you with other players or use this forum.

Re: Britcon 2015
There's a Premier Inn right next to the venue and a Crowne Plaza also on the same road, although that can be a bit pricey. There are also a number of small hotels and B&Bs that people use on the Cavendish Road which is only 5-10 mins away.

The first two you quote have been full for sometime. We have had to look further afield.
