Cannot resign MP games (on Mac)

Guys,

I've just tried to resign an MP Coral Sea game. We agreed to upgrade to Erik's latest version instead.
So I sent a message to my opponent (which is in the chat summary, so I guess it was sent?)

But when I click options, then resign, OOB shows a 'Major Defeat' splash screen. The 'exit' button at the bottom doesn't do anything.
So the only way out is to quit the game... But then it shows my turn again... So I guess my opponent can't see my message after all?

Any ideas?

(OOB 1.8.3 on Mac OS 10.10.4)

I have had the same problem MANY times.

Until the Exit button is fixed; let the turn stay on the server for about 7 days, then one or the other player may claim it.
