P&S Campaign Cannot Save Game

I've tried several times now to save in the campaign game without success, both from the campaign map and mid-battle. Is there some trick I should know about (aside from trying the same game button and clicking new save? I've also found that I cannot download and install custom scenarios - there is a message that says the file could not be unpacked. Window 10 system. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, even in a new Steam directory. No success.

Usually this is related with an interference caused by a Internet security program (like anti-virus, anti-malware, firewall, etc.) or the lack of administrator privileges.

Please make sure that your Internet security programs aren't interfering.

Thank-you; I don't anti-virus or anti-malware installed and I'm running the installation as an administrator. Is there another possibility?

Open your Windows documents and find a folder named PSCAMP and rename it to _PSCAMP.
Run the game, start a new scenario and check if you can save/load it.
