3rd rank shooting in Impact Pahse...

Do 3rd rank LF loose one dice per two when receiving a charge in the Impact Phase? I know they would if they were fighting in a front or second rank but they're shooting, not actually fighting...

Don't have rules to hand to give page references, but LF always lose 1 dice per two bases.

Unless fighting LF or fragged troops.

But the shooting is 1 dice per 2 bases for LF

I'm sure Dave can find us chapter and verse

Page 96 - Shooting. They gain 1 dice per 2 bases. So 1 base has no effect.

Page 98 - Impact. They lose 1 dice per 2 bases. 1 base has full effect.

Slightly but importantly different.
