Rumanians

Post by srimmer »

I've had a few games where the human player is the Allies. But when Germany attacks Russia the Rumanians do not move or join in. They just sit there until the Russians enter Rumania later-on the the game - then they move and fight. Can ths be fixed?

This isn't a bug - the Romanians join on or around the time they did historically.

We avoided a system of diplomatic triggers in this game for several reasons.

What reasons are those?

Game balance and variety. Diplomacy is extremely hard to get balanced without upsetting historians. Having optional rules means that both the ON and OFF has to be balanced and the basic game system was made from start to fit the historical dates of countries joining the war.
