Kingdom of Poland and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania
Hello,
I just checked army list in Storm of Arrows, and don’t found Kingdom of Poland and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.
Where I will found these countries? I have small forces for Grunwald (Tannenberg) 1410 and want use them in FoG.
Thanks
Boguslaw

There is another army list book called (possibly) Eastern Europe and the Rise of the Ottomans which covers, obviously
, eastern Europe which will have lists from both Poland and Lithuania (amongst others). Storm of Arrows just covers western Europe.
No idea of a publication date for the eastern book I'm afraid

You will please to learn that both the Polish and Lithuanian armies perform well under FoG.
I took Later Lithuanians to Warfare and came 4th out of 20 players. My army consisted of Lithuanian light horse and foot, Polish knights and strzelcy and a fair few Russian cavalry from the conquered Russian territories.

Bow, Light Spear, Swordsmen?rbodleyscott wrote:Bow, Light Spear, Swordsmen.frederic wrote:Are the Lithuanian LH only Bw or Bw-Sw capability ?![]()
Am I right that this is allowable and Bow, Lancers, Swordsmen are not because Light Spear is an inferior rather than a maximum Impact capability like Lancers?
Thanks,
Mike

Yes. Bear in mind it only applies to the LH. The Cavalry are Bow*, Light Spear, Swordsmen.MikeK wrote:rbodleyscott wrote:Bow, Light Spear, Swordsmen.frederic wrote:Are the Lithuanian LH only Bw or Bw-Sw capability ?![]()

There is no point in making LH Bow* - it just makes them cheaper without making them worse.

Both the Russians and the Poles are under the direct control of the main army's commanders.frederic wrote:I assume that Russian cavalry needs an ally general as for DBM, but what about the Polish general ?
Is he treated as a subcommander and are alle the Polish troops in line of command of all Lithuanians commanders ?
Cause Poland and Lithuania were more than classic allies.
The Russians are from areas incorporated into the Lithuanian state, and the Poles are "more than classic allies".

With all your answers I better understand now why Lithuanians performs well under FOG.
I will be pleased to play them in late october for our tournament in Cavaillon (south france).

Well I don't recall the exact details, but it hadScrumpy wrote:Any chance of sharing the list on here Richard ?
2 BGs 4 Polish knights Heavily Armoured Superior Lancers, Swd
1 BG 4 Polish strzelcy Protected Average Crossbow, Swd
2 BGs 4 Russian cavalry Armoured Superior Bow, Swd
1 BG of 8 Lithuanian light foot average unprotected bow
5 BG of 4 Lithuanian LH Bow, light spear, Swd
4 Generals (mostly or all TCs, I forget)
or something like that, as that doesn't add up to 800 correctly.
