Hello
I buy P&S:C instantly and play now my first campain. I`m in terotory what I want to defend but when computer go there in his turn I have auto retreat event. I do not want to retreat.
Is there an option to decide if You want or not want to retreat on cmpain map?
If there is no option like this that this is huuuuuge miss.

There is no such option because your generals know when they would be foolish to make a stand. Unless you have the difficulty level set way below your true ability level, then you would be unwise to ignore their opinion, even if you were given the option to do so.
If you want to stand against higher odds, set the Difficulty Level higher and your generals will accept battle at worse odds.

Defensive battle with good unit choice for terrain usually give me victory even if higly outnumbered. I think is huge minus and should be changed.rbodleyscott wrote:There is no such option. Your generals know when they would be foolish to make a stand.
Example: my general run away in front of army bigger like +30% pts and teritory were taken instantly. In my turn I atack to recapture teritory (enemy get bonus units from owning teritory) so I was even more outnumbered. What I got was epic victory. So if I will defend turn before I will be able to advance this one instead of recapture becouse result will be the same or better.

Thanks for the feedback, which we will take under consideration.viktorvektor wrote:Defensive battle with good unit choice for terrain usually give me victory even if higly outnumbered. In the meantime, I suggest you should play on Lieutenant General level (or higher) if you are not already doing so. This will automatically increase the odds that your generals are willing to face without retreating - to up to approximately 34% enemy points advantage at the Lieutenant-General setting.

Thanks for advice about rise game difficulty to avoid ru naway. Anyway is partial resolution.
I can add my 5 cents:
- If this auto run feature is not essential for game contept best if You just give in option way to on/off it.
or
- If this is game essential that I propose "general" feature where we can have generals (off battle commanders) with skill like "folow orders: %" and using general we will know the ods that he can run away under % when outnumbered and this give chance to put general with high % value on key teritory.

Yes, we will think along those lines.viktorvektor wrote:Thanks for advice about rise game difficulty to avoid ru naway. Anyway is partial resolution.

How to make Ai not retreat over and over in the same turn.

Play on Lieutenant General difficulty.Alma69 wrote:How to make Ai not retreat over and over in the same turn.
Armies will be less likely to retreat after the forthcoming update.
