Regarding the battle against the Allies, at the present moment is not conceived. After Berlin you will go to Prague and then Manchuria to end WWII. BUT I had something in mind for the next releases.

Hi friends. I couldn´t make it to this weekend
, but I hope to release the new version somwhere this week 
In my last test run I encountered some issues that needed to be fixed in order to deliver "bugs free" product, everything went well and the mod is almost ready!.
I must say that I had fun playing the big scenario, I think it will deliver some fun to expert and occasional players (depending of the difficulty selected of course). Some things went just as I wanted, in terms of historical accuracy, for example: by the end of 1943/1944 (if you do well of course) the player will enjoy of a decisive supremacy over the AI in terms of manpower but if the units are not well deployed the player will lose critical time and maybe the victory.
I achieved the air supremacy, but I had to be VERY careful with my units, keeping the damaged ones on the rear and spending precious prestige to reinforce them. But the experience gained was priceless, bad weather and snow time are the perfect conditions to replenish the fighter force.

The Great Patriotic War is ready to be played in this major update of my project along with several corrections and improvements for the campaign and the mod overall.
Important: I strongly suggest to check the Library to learn the mechanics and rules of this scenario, otherwise you will miss important info.

- The Swedish and Turkish convoys concept didnt make it to this release, I hope to implement it in the future.
- Partisan warfare: just like the point above, I couldnt make it in time, I will research how the AI will handle the player units behind the lines (it could be a disaster).
- Naval war in the northern seas: It will be improved and expanded in future releases
- More special units will be added in the future (standard and special)
I hate comparisons but most of the players will do them anyway. For all those veterans from Battlefield: Europe, it is not my intention to make a copy or an expansion of the impressive Mcguba´s project, so please try to play the scenario for the sake of fun. My idea is to create something different and unique, Mcguba made a fantastic job to recreate the historical accuracy in every aspect of the game, I tried to do the same BUT keeping the fun factor in mind (I expect to add more historical and rare events in future versions)... a difficult balance indeed. In other words: not every unit represent a division, battalion or regiment and the prestige cost of some units is based on the vanilla game (not the case for the new ones of course).
Right know I hope to receive as much feedback as possible, ideas, suggestion, bugs report, etc. I really want to perfect this scenario which took me a lot of time and pain
to make.

Great mod, congrats!
A few remarks
1.Do not worry about comparisons, I like both games for different reasons battlefield Europe and yours. Maps are different and in your game human players is on Soviet side.
2. Hex nr 53,130 is named "City" whereas it should be an "Airfield"
3. Attack sound of German foot infantry is in fact sound of a railcannon, it should be changed. In some cases I cannot hear the movement sound of Soviet cavalry. Guard tank T34-41 has no movement sound.
4. I played at Sergent level to discover the game. I am at turn nr33, In december 1941 I have defeated Finland and I was proposed to attack Sweden, I refused, I need my units from the Northern front to attack Warsaw and Berlin.
It is very important to know which unit to use to attack because reinforcements are coming from too far away (no complaint, it is like it was historically but when I see the new infantry units from so far away, north of the Urals...).
Now I took Warsaw, Bucarest, Budapest and I am close to Berlin. The sole problem is to gather enough troops to move because player is tempted to keep entrenched units where they are. Poor Soviet air force, it is well crappy compared to the German one. I really liked the missions (evac, Murmansk & Arkhangelsk convoy management, ...).
Great game so far, map is really huge to bring those reinforcements, without them the player can't really offer a real counterattack possibility even if they take time to arrive on the frontlines...

Regarding the difficulty, I design and test the scenario at General level. I really don´t know how the game will behave at lower diff levels
.... maybe a little bit too easy?. You are attacking Berlin already?, which turn?
The reinforcements concept is working as intended, tanks and other vehicles spawn at the Urals and most of the infantry will enter the battle near the main cities. From there is up to you where to send them, I think that is when the scenario is really fun: total freedom to lead the war on the Eastern Front.
Note: The use of trains is a MUST to bring the reinforcements to the front in time. Otherwise you lost, plain simple.
The air battle is VERY HARD at the beginning, just like it was for the Soviets. Try to keep your units alive and as most updated as possible, in my playthrough I spent a lot of prestige to reinforce them and keep attacking ground units or unprotected bombers to gain experience. Anyway I hope to receive more feedback and boost the Red Air Force if needed.
I hope you can play it again but at General level, there you will have some real challenge

In the early part of the game you should clearly say that all ships part of the same convoy should arrive at the same destination. I split my 1st convoy and sent half of it in Murmansk, half of ot in Arkhangelsk with no result then I moved the 1st half to Arkhangelsk and I got my reinforcements. Your message says the player can chose the destination harbor, this is misleading. Your message for the 2nd convoy (which is damaged in your story line BTW) is cristal clear: all ships to Arkhangelsk. So please calrify the convoy system in your very 1st message.
In order to answer your question, I attacked Berlin at turn nr 33 and captured it at turn nr 34. Then I got the message I had to keep it until turn nr 42 with Leningrad and Moscow in order to get massive reinforcements. I guess that if I capture 10 more cities then the game is finished with a total victory (I own Budapest, Bucarest and Prague). I am close to Vienna and Hamburg. In the south I attack Sofia. Normally I hope the game is finished well before turn nr 42!
My game is a good way to see if your victory settings are working as intended, ...
The message for Berlin is wrong: type "revenge" instead of "revegne", spelling mistake probably.
Thx for the tip, with train I can bring all my infantry and arty in Eastern Europe.
Mines from Finland should have dissapeared no ? Unless I am wrong, in the message it was said that mines were removed after Finland rejoined Russia.
After my victory there I still see 1 sole unit who remained in black and not in brown (so "not allied").
I really have sound issues, all rail movement of infantry and arty is the same as a light tank movement sound.
Please make sure you have not made a mistake when adding new sounds.
My guard T34/41 without movement sound is a pity...
However I love the music in game!
I always play at sergeent level to discover a game and to see soon if victory settings are correct. I am also a very bad player, I confess...
Usually I play at Leutnant level. I shall play at General level if you give me strategy lessons

This is an excellent game! Once updated with the correction of sound issues and a few minor spelling details it would be a marvellous game, congrats!
I can send you a saved game if you want to see the sound issue.

Hello,
I was about to finish the game (I conquered all cities except Italy) then at turn nr 50 Italy becomes suddenly -without game message- a neutral country (like Turkey or Swizerland).
However outside the inaccessible land (surrounded by a red circle) Italian units are attacking my units.
Did I miss something ?
I am not "happy" because my victory is "stolen" by the computer.
I can't play until turn nr 104 without the possibility to conquer Rome...
Any explanation is welcome!

Hi Robert. I will try to answer all your questions:
- Allied Convoys: I thought it should be self explanatory the issue about the destination ports (the nearest ones). But I take your suggestion, I will add an explanation into the library and messages.
- Berlin by turn 33
. I will state the requirement to play the game at General difficulty level as a MUST. Too easy otherwise I see. Please, play it again at that skill level
, and dont worry, I am a bad player but this scenario can be enjoyed anyway.
- I will check the Finn naval mines after the fall of Finland.
- Regarding the sound issues, please make sure you have a clean Panzer Corps installation. In my whole testing I had no issues at all with any unit. Try to reinstall the game and then apply the mod according the instructions.
- The Italy thing is intended to be as historical accurate as possible: if you dont conquer Italy by turn 50 (or near I dont remember exactly), the area will become inaccessible for Soviet forces as Operation Husky is underway and the Allies will invade the country... unless.... I will let you discover by playing in General, I see that in easy mode the scenario behave not as I desired to. But I will add a message explaining this hex issues ingame.

- Allied Convoys: I thought it should be self explanatory the issue about the destination ports (the nearest ones). But I take your suggestion, I will add an explanation into the library and messages.

I installed GME adding first Massi mod then Soviet Storm as foreseen.
I started a brand new scenario.
Same sound issues. Sorry.

Logicial because no MP3 file covers the movement of trains for instance, so I have still the tank movement sound for trains...
Sorry, I do not understand why sounds are working perfectly in original Pz Corps but not when adding your mod.

I will correct the transport trains sounds movement in the next release, strange because I didnt touched that unit
And I will recheck the rest, but everything seemed to be right to me (and no reports so far).
I hope those issues dont ruin your experience on the Eastern Front
