Game Crash

Post by solanin »

I have the game on steam, it launches and all I get is a black screen, then red flashes (probably into vid or company logos) then a green screen. Not sure if this is just a bug that need fixing or if my mac just can't run the game.

Here's my specs -
Processor 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce 320M 256 MB (according to nividia's wiki this graphics card should have direct x 10.1)
Software OS X 10.9.5 (13F1096)

Unfortunately that isn't working for me. The file to launch the game is not located in the Order of Battle: Pacific file either. The game did on a separate occasion launch for me and I even played a mission but after quitting and then coming back it went back to the same green screen.

I'm not sure what you mean? Did you succeed in navigating to "Users/<username>/Library/Steam/steamapps/common/Order of Battle - Pacific/" ?

Can you try these steps:

1) Right click on the game name in the list of your library.
2) Select Properties.
3) Disable "Enable the Steam Overlay" in the General tab.
4) Launch the game through Steam

I'm having the same problem except that all I get is a black screen and the game hangs up. I am running Windows 10 and have a GeForce GT430 with display driver 355.60 for Win 10. Ever since I have upgraded to the Win 10 from Win 7, which had no problems, this game and some others on steam have not run properly. I have tried what you posted but no help. Any other way of getting this game to run properly?

Thanks

Delete the Settings folder in your Windows documents folder at:

I've tried that and it still doesn't work. Currently there is no settings file, and when I load I still get the black screen and no response. Any other thoughts as to why it won't work?

Have you reinstalled the game?
