I think people may be more interested in whether Dave intends playing all 5 games this year ...

Enough confidence to play 2 or more games less than those playing 6 games?

The Saturday night of Britcon will see our first "Beer, Burgers & Bullets" evening upstairs in the bar onsite. Starting around 7:30 as the evening games begin to draw to a close, we will be offering:

- draft beer,
- "gourmet" burgers and chips (that's "fries" for those of you who live south of Watford)
- other BBQ stuff as well
- comfy chairs
- regular tables set up for social gaming (feel free to bring a game)
- a couple of "classic" war movies playing on a 50" screen in the corner (The Great Escape is one of them... so start your whistling practice!)

And, if it could get any better, we have even secured a special advance purchase rate for a "meal deal" of just £10 for a gourmet burger, chips and a pint !

CLICK HERE TO BOOK YOUR MEAL DEAL FOR JUST £10 (PAYPAL/CREDIT CARD)

For those of you who are planning on attending, we would really, really appreciate it if you could book the "meal deal" in advance as it greatly helps the University catering team with their planning.

So, please click the button above to make your "saving roll" and join us at "Beer, Burgers & Bullets 2015". We'll hand you your voucher for your meal deal when you register on Friday, and additional food and drink will also be available to purchase on the night as well. However the "meal deal" rate won't be on offer on the night, so if you think that you will have a pint, a posh burger and some chips anyway (which of course you will...) this is a great deal.

You can also book multiple tickets if you wish, either for your friends and clubmates, or just to have a guarantee of "seconds" for an extra tenner

We look forward to seeing you over Britcon Weekend

Hi Martin - Andy Ellis is the list checker and he is away until tomorrow. Hopefully we may get a full list of runners and riders within the next few days.

Pete looks favourite for the smaller pool. The larger pool seems to have a lot of the very good players... oh and dave_r too

Thanks for the kind words Tim but sadly I think your confidence may be misplaced. Have you see how I've been playing lately? And I managed to lose my first 4 Britcon games last year.

Plus I'm not sure I've made the best army choice - but let's see what everyone else is bringing. I predict at least 2 Swiss and 4 French Ordonnance lists in there.

Less than one week... is there also a Runners & Riders, or still only the Rider's names?
