KURSK

First: I don't understand why there is no Sub-Forum for Kursk?

Secondly: I see that Kursk goes for say $30.00, is that only for the expansion? Or, does that include the base game Eastern Front 2 also?

Hello Operating,

Thank you for contacting us. The game uses the same mechanics, although Kursk adds new units, campaigns, and other content, so there is no need for a separate sub-forum for Kursk as most of the BA2 info also applied to Kursk.

With regard to the expansion, it is $19.99 for the downoad edition of the game, so the physical edition is $29.99. This is just for the expansion and does not include the base game and you will need the base game to run the expansion.

Hi Joe!

Currently BA 2 is $50.00, which I don't care to play, but I have to buy it in order to play Kursk at the cost of $30.00 (I like boxed editions), not including the cost of shipping for each just about kills my hunger for the game. I'm on the fence about this and the recent news that Slitherine is getting out of the game's development makes me feel somewhat uneasy also. I'm pissed that the sales of these products did not last longer for I was not as interested then as I am now, karma I guess. Any suggestions on the money end of it: Like is there going to be another sale, ect.?

Thanks, Bob

You could get the boxed copy of BA2 and then get the Kursk expansion online? Or the two bundled (download only) on Steam for about the $50 mark.

Cheers

Thanks for trying to point out the DLC bundle. My last 2 PCs went up in smoke, had to open the windows up in the house to air the place out, it got so bad. Because I had several games that were DLC, plus other stuff that was DLC connected to the games, it became one big PITA to get everything loaded onto a new PC each time (yes, I do work the computers pretty hard for extended time periods). Now, I am a firm believer in getting boxed editions, be it that I only use them once, but feel safe and secure they are only a disc reader away and within reach.

Hello Operating,

Unfortunately we do not announce sales in advance. We recently had a promotion on BA2 (and some other East Front games) so keep an eye on the news feed/forums where the sales are announced.
