Hello there.
I want to post some info about the actual state of the mod.. and the future of it for those who are interested.
Finally after many months of work and with massive help from this fantastic community I am almost ready lo release the major new version of "Eastern Front: Soviet Storm", with luck by the end of the next week (keep crossing my fingers). Of course that will be the beginning of much more work to do to improve the scenario (or any other aspect of the mod) as the players report bugs, suggestions, mistakes, etc.... but that will be not the only focus of my work. What it does mean?, okay, I will explain it.
As most of you know, this project is focused and dedicated to the heroic Red Army, and it will be that way...
BUT many players asked me about the possibility to play as German: in order to thank the community the interest in my work I will start to work in
some German content for this mod. Yes, you hear/read right

. That is why, in this upcoming release, you will find a new "neutral" UI in preparation for a big change.
My idea is to add TWO German campaigns:
1- A 10-15 scenario campaign.
2- A big scenario, not as huge as "The Great Patriotic War", but a specific theater of operations. I promise it will be fun.
Where those campaigns will take place?, I dont know yet

, suggestions accepted of course. I want to be as original as it was "The Forgotten Campaigns".
Of course that will not end there as I have more ideas to add content to my project for both Soviet and German side: historical and non-historical stuff.
Keep in mind that after the release of "The Great Patriotic War" my main focus will be the improvement of the big scenario for the next months, so everyone please be patient regarding the German content... it will take an interesting amount of time as the knowledge regarding Wehrmacht is limited.
So... I hope people you all like these ideas as I wish to keep creating fresh content for my mod and the community for a loooong time (while my personal life allow it of course

)
Best regards, Akkula.
PS: please excuse my bad english
