Pre-Packaged Terrain Kits for sale?

Post by williamob »

I'm wondering if anyone knows about a vendor offering pre-packaged terrain kits?

In my mind this would be similar to a lot of miniature producers offering pre-packaged starter armies.

For example, similar to having Late Republican Roman Battle groups in a retail package, you would have the corresponding terrain appropriate for that army for sale in a kit as well. (15mm by the way)

Thanks

Will

this is something I am working on - watch this space (or at least my website :))

It is taking longer than I expected to sort out my rubber toys (well rubber terrain) due to life getting in the way.
I hope that when the rest of my family clears off on holiday I can get something sorted.

Well, I'm sure many companies do it. Miniature wargames do a terrain starter set, but it's all card cutouts (a bit like dungeon tiles). This is ok to begin with and practical, but not very attractive.

S&A miniatures also do a pack, but they are quite pricey were talking £80-£120. Heres their website. http://www.scenics.co.uk/

Beyond these I'm not sure but I thought it would be good business sense for scenic companies to put packs together as standard practice!
