Generals and second move question

Post by Ninthplain »

Hello all,

In last nights game - Palmyran VS Dominate Roman, we had the following question come up.

A general is with a group of MF and is able to make the group perform a double move. The group performs a 90 degree turn, (they could do this for free), and tests to advance, which they fail, are they able to now advance as normal using the general's second move or are they stopped because of the failed test to advance?

We played it that they could advance as normal on the second move.

Yes, as long as you follow the restrictions on a second move (must be a simple advance, etc.).

A single BG with a general can turn 90 and then take a second move that is an advance.

A battleline can only perform advances P41, simple and complex moves first bullet.
