Is there such a game with this type of IGOUGO?

Post by TokyoDan »

Are there any games with a type of IGOUGO where instead of the turn ending after a player moves all of his units, each player takes turns moving EACH of his units? e.g. I move a unit, you move a unit, I move again, you move again...and so on.

I think that Conflict of Heroes game does that. I got it at Matrix games. Seems I recall that kind of movement. 1 hex, then opponent gets to move 1 hex and so on and so forth. I found it boring myself.

Maybe you are talking about a "Hot-seat" type of playing a game...

These are my go-to games when I'm bored because they are so much fun than the usual single-player game. Although you call them IGOUGO, I think they're also considered a type of turn-based games. Instead of just being able to make one move at a time, you can move your whole team in-game and when you're done, Player 2 gets his chance to move his characters around too. Sparks video slot comes to mind, as well as plenty of other turn-based strategy games. I think SMW had a similar feature like this too, but not sure.
