Modding the Elephants?

Post by spedius01 »

Ave,

Has anyone tried to mod the elephants?

I've noticed that they have archers in the howdahs!

I wonder if I can get those archers to shoot?

This could be the first step towards horse archers!

Watch this space.

As mentioned before with modding -auxilia cavalry was it?- you would need the animations for it (though it could be normal, wouldn't be overly noticeable. I think that the arcehrs on top are considered part of the elephant, though, which means they will fire only one arrow :P

Ave fatetriarrii,

I think you're probably right, although I'm not too sure about the archers being able to fire one arrow? The more I learn, and take it from me there is a lot that I do have to learn, the more I realise how much I don't know. I think that regretably the elephant thing will have to go on long hold, no advance, no charging and definitely no firing.
