How do I log in for multiplayer using a friend's pc

Post by SSLConf_Yolo911 »

I am visiting a friend and was anticipating doing my multiplayer turns while out of state. He has OOB:Pacific and I thought I could log in as yolo911 on his pc and do my turns with other players. But it automatically logs in as my friend. Is there a way I can log into multiplayer on his pc? it doesn't give me an opportunity to change user id and passwords.

It's part of the serial security system I'm afraid. It ties the username with the installed serial, so there is no way to login with a different user unless you reinstall with his serial.

AFAIK this is the standard way this is handled in Slitherine games, but I'll double check.

You can - of course - play hotseat with your friend on a single device.

Thanks for the reply.

my buddy and I are playing some hotseat games. the reason I wanted to log on as myself is that I have three multiplayer games going and I was hoping I could do my turns and not hold up the other guys. I just hope I don't get kicked before I can get home to continue the games.
