Re: Derby World Teams, 3/4 October 2015
Sorry I was basing the comment on the Oxford 25mm Weekend in June which is 650 points and as I had heard that number for FoG:AM 25mm I had assumed that was the norm. Well you know what assumption is.........

I often get them mixed up for some strange reason.....

Well, just registered a team of 2 (myself and my brother for Derby) - anyone else to make up a team of three?

Thanks to everyone who provided feedback. The details are now on the Derby website.
Re: Derby World Teams, 3/4 October 2015
Shall we see how next weekend goes Paul before I offer to join your team!
Re: Derby World Teams, 3/4 October 2015
Yep, fair enough. My brother wants to play pool 2. I have a suitable 28mm army for pool 1 and / or 15mm armies for pool 3. Pool 3 would also suit the army you are painting at the moment.

Re: Derby World Teams, 3/4 October 2015
Paul,
After last weekend in not sure you do want me in your team!

Re: Derby World Teams, 3/4 October 2015
Will, it's not a problem.

Re: Derby World Teams, 3/4 October 2015
I would be honoured if you want me, but I may just be an even more massive point sink than having Nigel on your team!

Re: Derby World Teams, 3/4 October 2015
Will,
Happy to help you with your army selection which ever period you are doing.
I still do not know if I am doing AM or R.

Aww thanks Bob!
Think my major issue may be dice selection, not army selection!

Every time i have a bad dice day I buy a new box of dice. I have a lot of dice.......
I'll work on the principle that you are the number 3 for our team unless I hear differnt and we can work out who plays what period over the course of the summer. Entry fees are sorted.

Paul,
Thanks happy to be part of your team. I also have a lot of dice. Between us we could bankrupt the dice manufactures if we stopped buying.
I can do armies from all the three periods so will take whatever you give me as a period.
Are you doing Attack! at Devises in July as I am looking for a partner there.

Re: Derby World Teams, 3/4 October 2015
I have been advised by the organisers that space is tight this year as a number of new periods are being run. To avoid disappointment you should get entries in as soon as possible.
Cheers,
Kevin

Kevin,
The World's website says we can only enter as a team unless you give authority: -
*The FOG Ancients and FOG Renaissance competitions are team competitions. They require a team of 3 players, one player in each of 3 pools.*
*If you are an individual who would like to enter one of these periods, you MUST first contact the competition umpire.*
*The umpire will do his best to form ‘teams’ from individual players, if he is able to do this he will allow you to enter the competition.*
*As an individual your best chance of getting a place is to contact the umpire as soon as you can.*
*We regret we cannot accept individual entries for these competitions without the prior agreement of the umpire.*
So you will need to agree to John and myself entering as individuals until we are able to sort out a team.

Re: Derby World Teams, 3/4 October 2015
Thanks to those who responded to my message earlier this week, to my knowledge we've had 4 entries as a result. So, as space is more restricted this year, please hurry up with any further entries in order to avoid disappointment.
Re: Derby World Teams, 3/4 October 2015
So how many team entries have you got so far?
