Looks like a good turnout. Are you playing the comp as open or trying to keep books together?

what happened to your intention of pairing opponents with others from the same book for the first 2 rounds?

We thought about pairing vis-a-vis books, but I wanted to see if the open results would dispel the idea that some armies are favored.

In the future, some Gulf South events could well be themed or certain books.

Hilton and Company were gracious hosts that put on a well run convention and an exciting tournament.
A good time was had by all and I look forward to next year.

Ricky Jones* took first place yet again.

There was a lot of intense competition but not much arguing or attemted rules lawyering.
FoG makes for a much more enjoyable tournament experience.
What a rules-set.
