windows 8 and Battle Academy

bought a new laptop with windows 8, games starts but locks up or freezes when I click on multiplayer or play a game, is there a patch or suggestion. I've tried to use the compatible settings with no luck.
Don't have the lap in front of me now for all spec's, just wondering if there are any suggestions off the top of your head.

post in the tech forum of the game you want help with will get seen better and more replies, and tbh better ones from those who already have and own the game and maybe have seen or corrected the same problem with win 8, as it will work with win 10 even

Are you talking about BA or BA2? So I can move the thread to the correct Tech Support forum.

If you are getting into the game menu, what button press sequence leads to a crash?

sorry for the long delay.
I'm talking about BA and as soon as I click on multiplayer for PBEM it crashes.
I just updated to windows 10 and haven't tried it yet. Also is there a way to re-download the files, just in case mine are corrupted?

Check your Internet security programs (anti-virus, firewall, etc.) as they might be interfering with the game.

good news, updated laptop to windows 10 and the game is now good to go, who knows why but I'm happy again.
