EA Persian Starter Army confusion

Please help !

I am just a beginner at FoG, and I would like very much to play an EA Persian Army (from Immortal Fire), but I immediately found something puzzling.
The Starter Army at page 13 lists 2BG of "Boiotian Hoplites" (for a total of 12 bases), but the complete list at page 15 says that you can have a maximum of 0-6 total bases of "Asiatic Greek hoplites" . So, what's in the Starter Army are "Medizing Greek Hoplites" (page 16) ? And in that case, what' the meaning of the puzzling "the miminum marked * applies if any Medizing Greek troops are used" (page 14)?
It is all really confusing

Hi Raul,

Ive just looked at the book and it seems those hoplites must be medizing greeks, it seems to me that if you take any medizing greeks you must take a minium of 8 bases of HF Hoplites, so you couldnt just take the medizing cav or javelinmen, I think that is right.

It's just very strange they used a so specific option in the Starter Army ...

It's been stated that the Starter Armies were set up to get players started with a playable army at 600 points and not necessarily 100% in accordance with the final lists, though you should be able to use all the starter troops in an 800 point list.
