Sirucil Campaign Bug

Post by Chilango2 »

I'm not referring to the one having to do with province value, as that has been fixed.

If you succeed at those conditions and get the "Dwarves vs Orcs" choice and continue playing, your objectives change and you are supposed to reduce Hardigel and the Boruvian Empire to minor powers or to destroy them. However, if you save and reload (or if your game crashed and you load an autosave, even if its a few turns old) the new objectives are no longer there, only the original campaign objectives, checked off in green. However, If you proceed to annex any province after meeting the initial objectives but no longer having the new/updated objectives, you then lose the campaign.

If you capture a province and save and load, you can continue playing, but the new objectives still have vanished. I haven't tested if you lose if you capture a new province yet.

Obviously, it would be painfully difficult to reduce Hadrigel or the Boruvian Empire without annexing provinces, so I doubt this behavior is intended.

Thanks, this is clearly a showstopper if you play Sirucil.
