Core Naval Units

Just wondering how core naval units function in terms of their deployment in other scenarios, and if they require any edits to game code (for instance could a core battleship be deployed where you would normally put a transport in Sea lion or America?). I hope to be adding them to the Mongol mod, so soft cap isn't an issue.

You need only to ensure you have start places for your core ships. This is already true for Sea Lion and USA East. May be you want to add some more start places on sea.

If you what to enable buying ships, you have to change several files. You can see the result in the mod Italia Victor! named here in the forum.

The core ships arrive when you capture certain parts of the map - there is no purchasing in the Mongol mod.
