Bug Cloudfels campaign 1.6

Post by Rvlion »

Part 1 of the Cloudfels campaign:
Own 2 landmarks, Mountain provinces and Plains provinces... Take over Iron Barony and Dragonhold... Done !!
Part 2 of the campaign requires you to destroy at least 2 realms:
Currently destroyed Iron Barony, Dragonhold and Ladvia, but it is not accepted.

I went ahead another turn, I had to go from full screen to windowed mode to make the screenshot and thus had to completely reload the game, after the reload again I went ahead another turn.

For me no big deal... I want to rule the world.

However it has to be fixed if not already (and me missing it some were).

Did you by chance save/reload this campaign sometime before noticing this? I suspect it's related to that.

I have a save file at turn 151, prior to defeating Dragonhold (no war yet) and Iron Barony (only need 6 out of 18/19 provinces), already had Ladvia defeated.

It is possible that this save file has been used since it was created last night prior to bed time.

Started a new Cloudfels campaign in 1.6, upgraded to 1.7...
Both campaign phases now seemed to have progressed (will probably attempt another run through in the future), only discovered now that when attempting to move land based units through a port into the sea the game itself crashes.

Mostly the crash reports are giberish for me, but in this case it clearly stated:

Code: Select all

Sovereignty Crash in thread: Main

Error: NA naval class has no transport unit defined
Tried it with both Goblins and Ogres separate.

FYI the campaign objective progression bug is on our fix list for EA 1.9.

Thanks on the Cloudfels transport crash. Adding to the bug list.

Very good news about the campaign objective bug, thank you for sharing !!

I did come across another issue, not sure if this is a bug and therefor will post this here to ask...
During my conquest of Berany the province of Saint Leo became rebels, Hadrigel took over this province before I was able to attempt a take over.
Because Hadrigel is a "good"-alligned nation my ogres are not allowed to enter it. After peacefully having bought Ehrbruck, Westmark and Saint Leo from Hadrigel I was still unable to move troops into the province despite I have the ownership of the province. This caused my enemy Valegorn Palatinate to move a small army in the province, but I am now unable to send troops into the province despite it being in my ownership.

Is there actually a way of stationing troops in this province while playing a Neutral or Evil nation?
I had no troops finished building pre-invasion so was unable to attempt this.

Thanks, Rvlion,

The sanctuary should only trigger if the province is currently owned by a Good Realm. From your description, it appears it simply barred all Neutral and Evil units. We'll investigate.
