Skirmish Battle Training Question

Post by bssybeep »

I'm attempting to build my own skirmish mission using the Battle Training option and have some questions.

I manually select a number of enemy ships but the "proceed" button never enables so that I can click it. Except when I click the "auto select" button, then I can proceed. Then I have the same issue when manually selecting my own forces. Even after I use up my points, the "proceed" button never lights up.

So, the question is, how do I proceed when I am manually selecting forces for the Battle Training option?

otherwise, very fun tactical space combat game. I like the graphics and the control scheme. thanks

You definitely should be able to.

Are you dragging the ships from the panel on the left into the 3D view? The proceed button will initially be disabled, but should be clickable as soon as one entity is dragged into the view. Also, the entity needs to have a green (or yellow for the "selected" entity) ring, which means it's inside the grid and not too close to another entity.

Thanks for the reply. That helped me to figure what I was doing wrong. I was placing the enemy ships in the wrong location on the map. Once I had proper ship placements, the proceed button became available.

Very enjoyable game.

An additional feature that would be fun, would be the ability to customize your ships (apply different paint / camo schemes).

thanks

Glad you got it working, and thanks for the feature suggestion, we'll definitely consider that for a future update.

btw, I noticed the Dreadnaughts resemble the Royal Mantacorian warships from the Honor Harrington series, pretty cool. ;-)
