Torpedo vs destroyer

I think one of the loading tips mention that torpedoes are effective against capital ships and not smaller ships like destroyers.
This air unit is about to take 5 strength points off a destroyer. 1-2 points should be enough against a fast-moving highly maneuverable boat.

isn't it only a estimate anyway? as damage done sometimes doesn't get what was announced before it

but yes do agree it does now seem a bit high if it gets the 5 points that is, as it wouldn't do that to any other ship type.

The estimate was dead on. And I've seen several similar results.

If even similar ok but It would be good idea to change proportion between this unit's....even a little...

The ship probably did not move. Then you get extraordinary results. Even against destroyer.

If I remember correctly the game treats every naval unit that did not physically move as being moved.
This to avoid the players having to move all stationary naval unit 1 hex to avoid being caught as a dead duck in water.
