Have purchased and downloaded the zipped file. Normally the file unzips to install. This one did not and I apparently do not have the correct software to unzip the download. Am I missing something or did the download not go correctly? I had to try three times before if appeared to complete and the size looks to be correct. Any ideas on how to get it installed? Thanks!

I have just checked and I can confirm it's a standard zip file.
What 's the name of the file you have downloaded? What's the size?

The file name is StarHammer_1.0.0_release and its 960,020 KB. It says its a DMG file. When I try to open, I get a message that I don't have software to open a DMG file. Normally in the past they had something like setup release in the name but I'm having a few problems with the download.

I'm trying a 3rd try and the download while underway is called Starhammer VP Installers v100. It says it should be 663 mb when finished.

Just finished downloading again. Got message "Windows cannot complete the extraction. Destination file could not be created." Hope that helps.

The downloaded zip file name is StarHammerVP-Installers-v100.zip.
Once you unzip you that file, you'll see two extracted files, one named StarHammer_OSX_1.0.0_release.dmg and the other named StarHammer-SetupRelease-v100.exe.
You only need to run StarHammer-SetupRelease-v100.exe for installing the game on a PC/Windows.
StarHammer_OSX_1.0.0_release.dmg is the file for installing the game on a Mac OS X.

OK, that explains it, I appear to be getting the mac version rather than the PC version that I need. Either something happened during the ordering process or I inadvertently ordered the Mac version. How do I change to the PC download? Thanks for the help and excuse the digital ignorance.

The PC and the Mac version are on the zip file. Please run the file named StarHammer-SetupRelease-v100.exe.

OK, I downloaded again and the extraction file came through and the program unzipped and loaded successfully this time. This is still a hard birth. When I start the game, the first time I naturally get the security inquiry. I enter my code and the 'enter' button will not light up to allow me to enter the code. It doesn't appear to want to allow any code. The cancel button works fine thought. Any ideas on what I might be doing wrong now? Anyway, thanks for your patience and at least I can get to the manual right now.

Make sure you type in the serial number in manually via the keyboard in the format of XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX and not to copy and paste the serial only you could be copying not only the serial number but the white spaces on either side of the serial number.

No luck, I have tried repeatedly to enter my code with hyphens, without hyphens, etc. no matter what I type in the box, the "proceed' button will not light up and let me enter any data. If I pass over the 'cancel' button it lights up and works when pressed. Pressing the 'proceed' button does not work. Thanks

The serial must be typed always with hyphens.
Have you installed at the default folder C:\Program Files (X86)\...? Are you login to Windows as administrator?
