How do my Hueys re-supply?

I just started playing Vietnam 65 and went through basic training. I don't remember how to re-supply my choppers. Any help would be appreciated.

land them at a base, and when your not sure, you can always do the advanced training again on any topic just in case you forget something, good luck

They either have to end a turn in the HQ or the FB , or can be refueled by the engineers if they share the same base (FB or Forward Bases) , also must have sufficient PP for any of the above

Thanks for the help. I sure seem to be spending a lot of time with re-supplying everything and little time against any enemies. Is that what this game is about, mostly?

Not at all, but it is a major factor in the decision/priority tree. Imagine the game if the player could roam unhindered around the map, where would the challenge be.

Remember, V65 is not a traditional historical sim, it can be best described as an abstract short form wargame, if that makes any sense ...

Or spend 10 mins. reading the manual to get the most out of the game. Maybe even read couple times to really, really get it.

I can see this is going to take some getting used to. It's been close to 10 turns since I last saw combat. I'm just moving to the left and running choppers back and forth. It is the tutorial scenario, which might have something to do with it. The main problem is I'm not used to it yet. I'll see how it goes with a new game.

it looks like a game with no depth what so ever, and ends up a cavern with vast depth once the surface has been scratched, while some think it's a supply game, most now know it as a combat game with good supply issues where planning is paramount and positioning is key to winning, plus scouting, getting the locals on your side, i could go on, but you will pick it up as you play on, good luck commander

There is an investment to be made before you get into the 'rythym' of this game, the enemy is there and it's not random. Get Intel and conduct search and destroy operations, watch the VC contacts on the Intel map and the game will reveal itself.

They can also be refueled when landed at a Forward Base during an emergency re-supply drop or a standard Huey supply drop (on the Forward Base).

Edit: No longer applicable in Napalm update. Must be refueled by engineer at the FB.
