Japan 2nd mission bug - Broken, unable to progress

I completed the second mission on the Japan campaign and get the Burma invaded news pop up. No picture is displayed and clicking continue does nothing. I am unable to progress to Bataan mission 3. Please see screenshot. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

I took a picture on my iPad, but I get an error saying the file is too big. Trying to upload the picture.
