Setting a long movement range

Post by Erik2 »

Do the unit in the next turns follow the exact white trail, or does it use the optimum movement for each turn?
I hope the latter, as the unit in the screenshot looks to be on a walkabout in jungle and mountains...

This is the Ctrl-click option.

Looks like the movement path got adjusted the next turn.

Got a message asking me if the movements should take place.
It would be nice if the 'camera' moved to the unit so that you could see the result.

When you do a long distance move, the path it shows you is approximate, and based on movement points only. When the unit actually moves, it will try to minimise efficiency loss as well as mp.

It should show the shortest path to the destination in the preview (the actual path may differ to minimise efficiency loss).

Kohima Burma eh?

Just tuning in to say this is a really cool feature and future PzC-like should copy it.
