Guess the Chasseurs Alpins could also double as Vichy Miliciens

Keep them coming!
Every time a new unit comes out I feel a bit of extra inspiration to restart on my private mod so that I can find an excuse to use them.

Re: Guille's PzCorps Support Base - Multipurpose Icons and m
Seeing as the IS pack is done and you seem to be back taking requests, are you able to help me finish off WWI's new icons?
These are the ones I haven't got yet:
Nieuport 24
SPAD S XIII
Bristol F2
Sopwith Pup
Fokker D VIII
(Unless I manage to dig up some of these from somewhere else!)

Re: Guille's PzCorps Support Base - Multipurpose Icons and m
Hello to all!
Here am I, slowly making new stuff for anyone as fast as my free time allow myself to do so... Here is an icon which was recently shared by fellow icon maker Flakfernrohr... The 7,5 cm Pak 40-40 auf Rso... a little nice unit, which packed a big punch on a small and light chassis... I only had to make some very slight retouches to the original icon (added shadows, touched the gun barrel a little, modified the roadwheels, and some general stuff). As this was a very light vehicle, I think it could be possible that it could be deployed using some of the assault gliders used by the Germans in the war, so I added a special unit icon with a camo scheme for the Fallschirmjager... I hope you like it!
Credits to Flak for this nice one!!
PS: I have not forgotten about the Soviet very late and "what if?" units (obiekt 279, obiekt 704, etc...) so, stay tuned

Hello Akkula! Well, I am slowly picking up the pace and re-learning skills, but I have a lot less free time as present, because I am working very hard (you know, debts to pay)... But you will see more from me for sure! Thanks for the nice words!!

I'm not sure if you've noticed yet, but my Roman mod is going to be needing a bunch of new units. The list can be found on its thread, so please make a few if you have the time

Hi Guille, Thanks for the improved version of this little "handy" PAK gun! Looks great as always your stuff does. Good to see you back. Yes, waiting on the other stuff you mentioned.

Old Timer Panzer General fan. Maybe a Volksturm soldier now. Did they let Volksturm drive Panzers?
Re: Guille's PzCorps Support Base - Multipurpose Icons and m
I am interested in using these improved units. I have downloaded the file, but I don't know what to do with the files after I decompress them? Also, I see a Bigunits folder and remember hearing something about a MOD for bigger graphics. Are they related? Do I need that MOD to take full advantage of these improved icons?

Re: Guille's PzCorps Support Base - Multipurpose Icons and m
yes you will need the unit editor to install this unit into the game and the big unit icon needs to go into the big unit folder in panzer corps!!! so my friend welcome to the modding world
I would go to the beginning of this section and start reading the how too's on unit modding then once you get familiar with dos and dont's
start small there is a tutorial on how to install new units into the game

Re: Guille's PzCorps Support Base - Multipurpose Icons and m
Hello to all!
In order to fulfill a request made by Akkula for his marvelous mod, here is an icon pack for the SU-76M light assault gun. As he correctly pointed out, the stock game icon was for the earlier, not very successful and very scarcely produced SU-76, which was different in the power plant arrangement and in having an enclosed combat compartment. With these, you can have the mass produced version of this useful light unit.
The pack includes all base icon and masks files to be used with the DCS software (I checked the new version! The possibility to arrange icons in folders is a blast!!!) Also there are icons for a variety of Soviet camo schemes, and also the unavoidable German captured unit, and also a Finnish captured one!
I hope yo like them. As always, use as any of you see fit.
Cheers! :8
PS: Thanks to Flakfernrohr for providing me with some very useful reference images!

Hi Flak! "Mi Amigo!" Just edited my post adding a big thank you to you as the provider of a pair of very useful images to make this little unit!
Your very friendly words are always VERY welcome!
Keep up the good work you are doing in skinning Phcas' icons! By the way, I will give a try in making a base icon and mask for the Sdkfz 250/11 half track with the sPzB 41 you asked for!
