Terrain info the easy way

Post by Erik2 »

We finally got the ability to click on an empty location to check the info. Good.
But wouldn't it be easier to just add that info in the 'empty' flag-space?
That would save the 2 mouse-clicks to open and close the info.

That is a really good idea! It would also help people get an idea what to expect of terrain, they would see it all the time and "learn" it without effort this way what this or that terrain type does.

I saw that but does it apply to the attacker or the defender? ? so if it says .5 for something is the defender or attacker at half strength?

Ya that confuse me sometimes too hehehecan the moderator explain abit on terrain defence? Also some unit can hide in terrain, is there a list of where and wat unit can hide as I only learn that city, town, village, forest and jungle can hide thru gameplay but don't really understand fully like can any unit hide in swamp? Also
A difficult terrain with road izit equal to no road? As I find that my unit travel very slowly on difficult terrain even with roads.

Thx

As far i remember dirt road reduce the terrain penalty by 50%, paved roads remove it totally. I am not 100% sure tho and can't find the post mentioning it anymore so take this statement with a pinch of salt until someone confirms it.
