The Battle of Marciano Scannagallo 02 august 1554.
In 1552 Siena expelled the spanish garrison requesting help from France, the King dispatched immediately money and men to support the Senese Army. After many skirmish in 1554 the French-Senese army commanded by Piero Strozzi with Swiss, French and German mercenary support meet the Imperial-Florentine army led by GianGiacomo Medici Marques of Marignano.

I had had plans to include customized graphics for this battle in Version 3 of my Battle Flag Graphics Pack, but will now bring them forward for inclusion in Version 2 which I am hoping to release next weekend. Good to see more Italian Wars battles are becoming available, does anybody have plans to do Cerignola' and Garellano?

Fantastic ! The basic venetian banners for the Senese Army were awful !
