AI Turns on Battle of Tokyo taking 10-15 minutes

I am getting close to the end of the last scenario for the Americans but holy cow, are the turns taking forever. There have been some points throughout the campaign where the AI seems to spend an inordinate amount of time in thought but this is the first time it has gotten this ridiculous. I have attached a save game so that perhaps you can witness this. Maybe it will be a little bit better on your computer but my PC meets or exceeds the recommended specs.
