Rank Bonus Questions

Hello again :)

Another quick question. If an Offensive spear or Pike unit does not have a complete rank, does it get the rank bonus? I.e.: a unit is 3 wide and 2 deep, and then loses a stand. Does it still get the rank bonus?

Yes, it does get the POA for the second rank . . . but only for those two files that are still two ranks deep. The other file loses a POA and a combat dice. POAs are calculated by file.

simply count your files rather than the ranks if that makes sense. :D
