It would be a nice way for us strategy fans to chat in real time, discuss tactics, multiplayer, history, anything really. It's a more dynamic way to communicate than forum posting.

This works if everyone is in the same country, but not so useful for a worldwide thing (due to timezones).

Also, live chat rooms need to be limited to one language, but people can always use an online translator and then just copy that text onto the forum.

So while I think the idea is good, it is unlikely to work in practise I'm afraid.

However, if there are a bunch of people you want to talk to in real time, add them on steam or arrange a skype call. This makes things a lo easier when people are all able to be online.

Though, wouldn't you like to keep posting and improve your icon?
