Things I love to have

Post by simcc »

First of all I would like to thank the developers for giving us a good game however there are somethings I love to see in the game.

Things I love to see in this game as below
- Battle debrief (to fully see how well we did like in PzC)
- Battle summary ie how many unit kill, number of casualty taken etc (to fully see how much dmg we inflict and taken)
- More meaningful specialization eg kamizake on the last mission on Japan while Japan is winning? seems not logic to me, to me this skills should be avail in mid-game as the Japanese was hoping to use this to turn the tide also in game don't matter much if this came early as its expensive to blow up an airplane hehehe :D so its like the banzai charge high risk high return.
- More meaningful for transport as US still ok in terms of tactic of choosing transport ie the blue landing craft etc while in Japan it make no sense to have different transport when they all move the same speed. As a long time PzC player I don't rush infantry in truck to front line so armor don't matter much except air defense in case any bombers found me trucks.
- Sea battle was really awesome and great job just 1 thing I don't really understand ie torpedoes, same dmg value if launch from different planes? any point of upgrading torpedoes planes just because of the defense? IMO any bombers caught by fighters no matter how good the defense is still take heavy dmg.
- Buying supply ships ability helps players to plan their invasion better. Some scenarios I wish to sneak my marine behind enemy line to cut them off but no supply ships avail for deployment means I can't do that because without supply my marine is useless.
- Also note heros attach to unit and remove from unit i found my Japanese heros name turn to whiteman name in the unit after you detach lolz. James Smith left the unit etc lol thats funny not much impact on game.
- Last but not least same request for grand campaign hehehehe. Really love to play British defense of Singapore or Japanase Malaya invasion the famous Burma road and Burma railway signify the importance of Burma yet no Burma scenario here :(. War on China plays an important role too as they depleted the Japanese force in China so Shanghai invasion, infamous Nanking massacre etc would be nice also chemical warfare? develop by Japanese in Manchuria? Maybe I am asking too much hehehehe but seeing how you guys did PzC grand campaign I believe you guys can get the job done.

Thx

Battle summary is a great idea. I'm sure most of the player will highly enjoy this part at the end of a scenario.

Personally, I also want to limit the upgrade option. Current a unit can almost upgrade at any place. I still prefer the way it works in PzC. Units can only get upgraded in certain hex (City?Airport?Port?Supply?)

Agree on the upgrade, makes more sense. Don't quite get it why the developers don't see the good stuff in PzC lol

I would love to see a battle summary at the end of each scenario. It would make replay values even better, so you can compare how you did more precisely with your previous attempts. Thank you for a really fun game.
