Experience Gain With Hotfix Still Super Slow?
Has anyone else noticed that experience gain even with the Hotfix is still ridiculously slow? I am up to the battle of the Coral Sea as the USA in a campaign started under the hotfix, and not a single unit has even a half star yet.

After the hotfix, my best units have 2+ stars at Coral Sea (playing Japan atm though). Could be more, but often using normal replacements to save RP reduces XP again.

(Sorry for being somewhat off-topic)
Do you suggest restarting the campaign, I think I am struggling.
I didn't play with the hotfix and just made it to Philippines Sea and my units have 0,5-1 Stars only.
Wondered if I should restart to have more experienced units. But somehow most of my Marines got killed several times already, guess I won't get much experience after the patch either.

Re: Experience Gain With Hotfix Still Super Slow?
I started a new campaign with the hotfix as Japan. Played at level 2 difficulty and used always elite replacements to maximise the experience gain. After the New Caledonia scenario my best units have the following experience:
- 2 infantry: 6695 and 5958 exp respectively
- 4 marines: in the range of 8543-7354 exp.
- 2 Heavy Infantry: 6190 and 7088 exp.
- 2 Artillery : 5933 and 6151 exp.
All other units have less experience because either have been acquired later in the campaign or have been involved in less fights. On average, the navy best units are around 1.5 stars and best air units are at 2.5 stars.
Of course, if you play at higher levels it is likely that you have less resources for systematic elite replacements.
Based on what I see so far, I think it is possible to have a few units at max experience by the end of the campaign (at least at lower/medium difficulty).
A final note: the marines units seem to gain experience faster, but this is due to the fact that their mobility in difficult terrain makes them the best assault units (still guessing if the developers made this intentionally or it is just casual

Re: Experience Gain With Hotfix Still Super Slow?
the problem is not in the rate of recruitment experiencemonkspider wrote:Has anyone else noticed that experience gain even with the Hotfix is still ridiculously slow? The problem is that at this point in the game there is no grand campaign like PzC
all hope for DLC and fans modification
