Difficulty levels

Please elaborate more about difficulty levels. Is the A.I. shackled on easier ones? Beside the unit strength increase, is the A.I. being fed extra resources (units) on the highest difficulties? Thank you!

No idea if that's all, but if you like fair terms than difficulty III (middle) seems to be the way to go.
