Game wont load old savegames

Hi,

I had the black screen at gamestart bug, so i deleted the settings folder. But now the game wont show me my old savegames, but they still are there.
I can save new ones and load them but the old ones not.

Can you post the output_log.txt file?

It looks like there is a corrupted save which is breaking the code and preventing the display of the remaining scenarios. Can you do the following:

1) Open the game and look for the savegame at the bottom of the list. Remember this name.
2) go to the <my document>\My Games\Order of Battle - Pacific\Savegames folder
3) make sure the content of this folder is sorted by date, so it displays the files in the same order as the in-game savegame list
4) Select the savegame just BELOW the game which was listed last in the in-game list. That should be the corrupted file.
5) Zip this file and attach it here.
6) Delete the file and check in-game if it now succeeds in displaying the remaining savegames

I'd like to have the corrupted file so I can test it here and make certain that does not break the game any more.

In the game i dont even see the savegames.

But you said it does show newer saves?

Yes, if I save a new one it shows this. But it wont show the old ones. Right now I have no (new) savegame. I could save a game a new savegame if that helps. (Sorry English isnt my native language)

Thanks. If you delete the two QuickSave files that should fix the display of your other savegames.

I'm glad I found this thread I thought I had lost all my old saved games also. I had a blue screen crash during the jap mission where they are blowing the bridges up. ( That mission has caused many problems) Then after that crash my game would not reconize the saved games in my folder even though I could see them in the folder it self. This saves me many hours of replay, and I was growing attached to some of my units too.

Next patch will have a fix to make sure one corrupted savegame won't stop the rest from displaying. How the save game corrupted in the first place is something he haven't figured out yet, but it makes the issue a bit less severe.
